Will Beckum holds an engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) and is a graduate with honors of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
While attending Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Beckum had the honor of being named a member and editor of the Washington University Law Review.
Mr. Beckum has fourteen years of legal experience handling complex and often high stakes litigation throughout State and Federal courts in Alabama, Missouri and Illinois. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a consulting engineer gaining vital experience across industries ranging from manufacturing to pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Beckum’s trial practice focuses on litigation involving employment law matters. He takes significant pride in being an advocate for individuals who have suffered unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation in the workplace. Mr. Beckum also handles contract review including review of professional employment contracts, severance agreements, and non-compete clauses.
Mr. Beckum resides in Birmingham with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters. Outside of the firm, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an active parishioner of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
